Younger sister to Jake Gyllenhaal, Maggie is herself a successful film producer and actress. She is part of the celebrity Gyllenhaal family and began her career as a teenager. Maggie appeared first in minor roles in a couple of her father’s films as a sort of induction to the family business. After improving her craft, she later appeared in major roles and was given credit for Mona Lisa Smile, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, and Adaptation.
