As people followed the life of Hannah Montana in the eponymous TV show, Miley Cyrus practically grew up in the eyes of the public. In an interview, she revealed that she did not realize the degree of pressure she was under as a child star and has since then tried her best to let people know who the real Miley Cyrus is by taking on more adult roles now. She is best known for her varied music that incorporates rock, experimental, hip hop, and even pop styles. Much of her musical performances in recent years and her personal life have also sparked controversy.

Perhaps this was not what her father, country singer Billy Ray Cyrus and Tish Finley, had in mind when they signed her up to be an actress, but they have to accept that Hannah Montana is no more and Miley Cyrus is the one they have to deal with and accept.
