Best known for playing the character of Rachel Green on the television sitcom Friends from 1994 until 2004, Jennifer Aniston started acting at a young age with an uncredited movie role in the film Mac and Me in 1988. Aniston’s first significant film role was in the horror-comedy Leprechaun in 1993. As her acting profession progressed in the 1990s, Aniston became one of the highest-paid actresses in Hollywood.

Growing up with parents who also had successful careers in show business, the Friends star attended prestigious schools in Los Angeles and New York City, including the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music and Art Performing Arts, where she joined the school’s drama society.
