Willow Smith had her acting debut in the film I Am Legend in 2007. She also appeared in Kit Kittredge: An American Girl. The multi-talented Willow is also a rapper, record producer, songwriter, singer, and dancer. Willow launched her music career with her single Whip My Hair in 2010, which peaked on Billboard Hot 100 at number eleven. It was nominated at the BET Awards of 2011 for Video of the Year. Later on, Willow signed to the record label Roc Nation which is owned by her mentor, Jay-Z, and she became the youngest artist signed to the label.
Credit to her successful Hollywood-celebrity parents, Willow has all the resources needed to succeed in the entertainment industry. In 2018, she started to co-host the Facebook Watch talk show Red Table Talk. It earned her two NAACP Image Awards and a nomination for a Daytime Emmy Award.
