Robin Christensen | André The Giant’s Daughter

Among wrestling’s greats, André The Giant certainly wowed everybody even to this day. His large stature and dominant presence led to many calling him “the eighth wonder of the world”. Many wrestlers give credit to him for inspiring them to venture into wrestling. In addition, he established a very successful acting career. However, his passing in 1993 clearly left a big gap in the world of wrestling.

While his career was certainly impressive, his family life is quite different. He only has one child, daughter Robin. She was his child with Jean Christensen, who was working for wrestling public relations. While Robin certainly admired her father, she never got to bond with him often thanks to her father’s hectic schedule. Despite this, she still remembers her father as gentle and kind. Today, at age 43, Robin has played an active role in ensuring that the memory of her father is kept alive.
