The elder Sam was born back in 2007. She got her name from her father’s nickname while he was growing up. While Sam has not ventured into golf and has no interest in it, she has expressed interest in another sport: soccer. Together with her dad, she attended various professional soccer matches and even met the U.S. women’s national team. Now at age 14, Sam has clearly devoted her time to soccer, which her father clearly supports.
