Selah Marley | Lauryn Hill’s Daughter

Aside from having a highly accomplished music career, Lauryn Hill is known for her 13-year relationship with Rohan Marley, who made his name in football and investments in eco-friendly ventures.  Of course, another important detail is that Rohan is the son of reggae icon Bob Marley. The union between Hill and Marley led to them sharing five children. Among them, the most well-known is their daughter Selah.

Already born into a family well-known in the music industry, Selah carried prestige with her. Her name is derived from Hebrew, meaning “meditational pause”. She made a name for herself in modeling. She began back in 2011 when she was featured in Teen Vogue. Eventually, she found her way in the covers of magazines such as Harper’s Bazaar, Vanity Fair, and Elle. She also modeled for various brands including Michel Kors, Chanel, and Calvin Klein. Today, at age 22, Selah followed in her mom’s and grandpa’s footsteps and ventured into music, releasing her first EP in 2021.
