Sy’rai Smith | Brandy Norwood’s Daughter

Aside from being a record producer and an equally good actress, Brandy Norwood is one of the icons of the Rhythm and Blues music scene. Her rise to fame started when she released her first single I Wanna be Down. It is with noting that she is the first cousin of the famous rapper Snoop Dogg. In 1994, she sold more than 5 million copies when she released her self-titled debut album. Subsequently, she tasted more success with her hit song The Boy is Mine. She takes credit for a Grammy Award for Never Say Never and two subsequent albums, Full Moon and Afrodisiac.

Norwood started the reality show Brandy: Special Delivery where she is seen taking on the challenge of maintaining the balance between her career, family, and most importantly, being a mother. Her daughter Sy’Rai is approaching her 20s. She and her mother love to wear identical outfits all the time!
