Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen

Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady may appear to be the perfect celebrity couple, but they’ve faced their fair share of major challenges. Their first test came only a few months into their courtship when they learned that Brady’s former girlfriend was pregnant with his child.

More recently, after almost a decade of their union, they faced another roadblock when the supermodel found herself unhappy in her marriage with the NFL player. Instead of allowing these problems to derail them, the couple, however, found a way to overcome and grow stronger. They learned the value of communication, and in fact, Bündchen wrote her husband a heartfelt letter to express what she felt. Brady credits his wife for doing so because it made him understand his responsibilities as a husband and a dad. The couple exchanged vows in February 2009 and have welcomed two kids.
