Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick

Actors Sarah Jessica Parker, or SJP, and Matthew Broderick bonded over their shared love of the musical theater in the ‘90s. Nearly 30 years after meeting, the two are still keeping their love alive. SJP met Broderick through the world of Broadway in November 1991. She was introduced to her future husband thanks to her brothers, Toby and Pippin, who helped start their theater company in New York. It wasn’t until several months after they first crossed paths that the Ferris Bueller’s Day Off star asked the SATC actress on a date.

The Hollywood pair walked down the aisle in 1997 and welcomed their first child, James, in 2002. Seven years later, they became doting parents to twin girls, Tabitha and Marion, via surrogate. The two stars have kept their relationship and home security intact as possible throughout their romance.
