Beyoncé is one of the most influential and successful musical artists in the world today, with millions of albums sold and over a dozen Grammy awards to her credit. She has a life that many people would envy outside of music – she is married to mogul Jay-Z, and the couple has an impeccable fortune and investments. Even though Jay-Z has been her boyfriend for most of her relationship, Beyoncé had another boyfriend for several years before marrying him.

Beyoncé’s first boyfriend was named Lyndall Locke, whom she met as a teenager at youth church. They were too young to be dating, but their relationship lasted much longer than you would expect. Part of the reason for Beyoncé and Locke’s breakup was that she spent most of her time on the road with Destiny’s Child. She was then with Jay-Z as she rose through the ranks of the music industry.
