Mamie Gummer | Meryl Streep’s Daughter

Meryl Streep is among the greatest actresses in American film history, having won countless awards including Golden Globes and Oscars. The actress made her stage debut in Trelawny of the Wells and subsequently received a nomination for a Tony Award for the play 27 Wagons Full of Cotton and A Memory of Two Days. Streep married Don Gummer, a sculptor, in 1978 and eventually had four children. One of them is Mamie Gummer, and she made a name for herself.

Gummer started portraying small roles and worked her way up. She then played the titular role in the television series Emily Owens, M.D., as well as an attorney in the hit TV series The Good Wife. Even at a young age, Gummer has always been passionate about acting. During the time of her first film appearance, the young actress was only 20 months old — she was featured in the romantic comedy film Heartburn in 1986, which starred her mother and Jack Nicholson.
