Jessica Simpson rose to prominence as a teen idol, singer, and actress in the early 1990s. She sold one million records globally throughout her career, with some of her hit singles being I Think I’m In Love With You, Irresistible, and With You. Since 2014, she has been married to football star Eric Johnson, and the couple has three children. Their eldest is Maxwell Drew Johnson. Following her birth, Simpson released her maternity clothing as well as a perfume line as her business investments.

Now at about 9 years old, Maxwell is looking more like her mother with her blue eyes and hands on the hip, as seen in the photos uploaded by her proud mama. Her body angled away, eye contact with the camera, and pursed lips are all indicators of her resemblance to Simpson. Perhaps she’ll be a singer and actress one day, just like her celebrity mom.
